Scope and quotes

Every engagement begins with a written proposal setting out deliverables, milestones, dates and a fixed total price. That proposal, once accepted in writing, governs the work. Anything not listed in it is outside scope and will be quoted separately before it is started.

Payment

Standard terms are 40% on commencement, 40% at design sign-off and 20% on launch, unless the proposal states otherwise. Invoices are payable within 14 days. We may pause work on accounts more than 21 days overdue, having given written notice first.

Revisions

Design includes two full revision rounds. Further rounds, or changes requested after a stage has been signed off, are charged at our then-current hourly rate and quoted before we proceed.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide timely feedback, a single nominated decision-maker, and any content, brand assets or third-party access we need. Where delays on your side push a project past its dates, the schedule shifts accordingly — we will always tell you when that happens rather than absorb it silently.

Ownership

On receipt of final payment, all intellectual property in the work we produce for you transfers to you, including source code, design files and content. Domains, hosting, analytics and advertising accounts are registered in your name from the outset and remain yours throughout. We retain the right to reference the project in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.

Warranty

We fix defects in work we delivered, free of charge, for 60 days after launch. This does not cover changes to scope, issues caused by third-party services or plugins, or problems arising from modifications made by others after handover.

Confidentiality

We treat your business information as confidential and will sign your NDA on request. We expect the same regarding our proposals, pricing and methods.

Liability

Our total liability in connection with any engagement is limited to the fees you have paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business.

Termination

Either party may end an engagement with 14 days' written notice. You pay for work completed to that point and receive the deliverables produced. We will hand over accounts and files in an orderly way regardless of the reason for ending.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts of New Delhi having jurisdiction. Alternative governing law can be agreed in writing for larger engagements.

Note for the site owner: these are sensible commercial defaults, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review them before you rely on them — especially the liability, ownership and governing-law clauses.
